Do you recognize the flags of the countries we already lived in? France All of the kids are born in the South of France, where they lived for the mayor part of their lives. Before that, Petr and Denisa had already lived in France for more than 10 years... the Czech Republic Petr grew up there until 1989 when the Berlin wall fell and he started discovering the rest of the world. Denisa spent the first few years of her life there, as well as some part of her study. And even the kids had plenty of time to discover their home-language country during the two years that it took to make me ready for this expedition. the Netherlands Denisa's father is Dutch, and she spent her childhood and studies in the Netherlands. We still often go there to visit grandma & grandpa, aunt, oncle and cousins, and some bunch of friends. It is our third home-sweet-home-country. Spain During 3 years, Petr and Denisa studied and worked in Madrid. Their friends came from all over the world: Spain, Latin America and from many other places too. They loved the Madrileña style of life .. the United States During their master studies, Denisa and Petr left together to North Carolina. Petr went to a business school and Denisa visited the Slavic languages university. They spent all their free time traveling around. England Petr spent one year here to learn to speak English well, so that he could speak to people all over the world. Norway This was the first county that Petr decided to discover, for a 3 month job.And the experience continues... As we pass through new countries, I do so very slowly and sometimes, the visit of one country feels like a lifetime, as we meet so many interesting people with whom we share a few moments of our existence. We love to discover new places and the people that occupy them: We listen to the them, play with them, work with them, share their meals and their ways, laugh or cry with them, always curious about the way they live their lives. We adore this!
