• 2016 → All (born) family members vote for a world-trip together
• 2017 August → Petr gets his truck driver’s licence (C)
• 2017 October → Enzo is born, the 6th team-member
• 2017 December → We buy Tao, the 7th member, the team is complete
.........… first departure date fixed → 8 October 2018, Enzo’s first birthday
• 2018 April → First testing trip with Tao, he’s great!
• 2018 Mai → Petr leaves his job
• 2018 June → Beginning of Tao’s transformation from 4 to 6 beddings
• 2018 July → We leave our house, we haven’t had “our place” since…
• 2018 September → all kids are homeschooling
.........… second departure date fixed → 1st April 2019 (this is NOT a joke)
• 2018 October → Denisa gets his truck driver’s licence (C)
• 2018 Winter → Tao is far from finished, but we can’t continue because of the cold.
We decide to take advantage of this winter pause and to enjoy the Czech countryside.
.........… third departure date fixed → 27 July 2018
• 2019 May → We found out that Tao’s interior is completely rotten and this structure starts corroding
(this was invisible before) What do we do now ???
• 2019 June → We decide to start all over again and redo the whole interior
.........… third departure date fixed → Autumn 2019 (you see, we are becoming less precise when giving dates ;-)
• 2019 Winter → We’re working hard, but it’s sooo much work!
Another winter break is unavoidable, this time we spend Christmas in the Netherlands.
.........… fourth departure date fixed → Spring 2020
• 2020 March → Corona pandemic !!!
• 2020 April → Granma and granpa cannot join us (the borders are closed) and cannot help us work quickly
by being with Enzo and the kids, so work takes muuuuch longer now…
.........… We don’t know how to fix a date because of the Pandemic, but we continue working hard to finish Tao.
• 2020 May → We cannot travel far, but we still realise our first testing trip, our “Journey around our meadow”
• 2020 June → second testing trip: one week in the Czech Republics.
Tao is fabulous, but there is still plenty to improve or to finish
• 2020 August - Our first mini-TV-report for the Czech children's TV channel
• 2020 September → We settle for a few months in Saint-Michel l’Observatoire, where the children go to school.
We need to catch up with our French.
.........… fifth departure date fixed → November 2020
• 2020 October → Second corona confinement, we stay longer than planned
• 2020 Winter → We go to the Netherlands, because the confinement is less restrictive there
and we can pass the winter in granma and granpa’s house
• 2021 Spring → We travel through Europe : Belgium, Luxembourg and France,
where we stay several months in the South to see our friends again
• 2021 Summer → Love live the journey! …The French Pyrenees, Andorra…
• 2021 Autumn → … Spain, Portugal
• 2021 Winter → We spend our first Christmas in the midst of nature,
and then newyear with our Spanish friends in Extremadura
• 2022 Spring → We go back to France for a school checkup. A series of minor medical worries retain us in France
• 2022 Autumn → That’s now…
