Please meet us! Need some excuse?

Curious to talk to us but afraid to disturb? Here are some cool excuses to come up to us. We'd love to meet you!

I'm a very pretty old-timer truck, so I'm used to being looked at, photographed, and approched. I actually like it, to talk about my past, my future plans and my present adventures. I easily open up my engine cover or my home interior. But not everybody drives up to some unknown truck without feeling shy...

So if you're turning around me and you're curious to have a look inside or to talk to my 7x7 family, just do so! They left on their journey to get to know new people, so you would actually be doing them a favour. And if you still feel a little shy, you can always approach them by offering some luxury like a washing machine, a shower or filling my water tank. They will be more than happy and very grateful. We deeply believe, that people like to help one another, so we try to make it a habit to offer and ask for help and we always have a good time when we dare go for it. Being independent is OK, but depending (a little bit) on others can also be a source of many enriching experiences.

Let's say it this way
We CAN survive without any help, but other people can easily make our lives a lot more enjoyable!

So here are some very welcome nice-to-meet-you-excuses :

Laundry

As you can see on the picture, we don't have a washing machine. Until now, we very often ran into people that offered to do a laundry for us. And when we really needed it, we asked and people were happy to help. And sometimes, we washed our underwear in the river ;-).

Water

I have several big water tanks underneath, overall I can absorp over 300L of water! I can even filter untreated water, if needed. After filling up, my family is ok for about 10 days. On the picture, our source was the fountain in the middle of this cute litte village. But many people offered us to fill our water tank at their homes.

Shower

My family only feels like taking a shower when they really need it ;-) Why? First, I have to have enough water, heat it overnight, install the shower (inside or outside)... For all of them to pass takes all day ;-) Any other time, a washcloth has to do. So imagine, when someone proposes his shower, it's party time!

Bath

Taking a bath is a surreal pleasure which fills us with joy for a whole week... It is very rare, and the last time it happened the bathroom was bigger than our house on wheels! Fortunately, we can also take care of our skinn by mudd baths, very healthy ;-)

Extra space

Some projects are possible inside me, for example, the sewing machine works very well. But sometimes, a bit more space to realise big projects could be great! Here you see Enzo at his car-sewing-project, very productive ;-)

Do-It-Yourself but sometimes Need-Some-Help

Although I work very well, I often need cleaning and sometimes repairing. But it's not only me, my motor and my interior. What about the equipment and the kid's toys? As every object is used very intensively, we break a lot. And then we are happy to find some help, spare materials, or even to use somebody's workshop.

But above all: Thank you for crossing our way!

The best part that we are really grateful for, is that our life on the road gives us so many occasions to meet new people, to listen to the story of their lives, to learn about their passions, to witness their day-to-day habits. Thank you for sharing a few precious moments of your life with us!

So, let's see if these ideas inspire you to approach me and my family!
