Since September 2019, my family lives inside me and we are travelling fulltime. That means that their is no way they can go to school ! Huray ! The bad news is that they still have to do schoolwork. Who are their teachers? Their parents! Arthur (13 years), Cailin (11 years), Naomi (7 years) and Enzo (4 years) all go to my traveling school.
Why a French school?
The kids are all born in France. They all tried out going to school there. And most of their freinds are French! Every year, the kids have a meeting with the French school inspectors. Even our little Enzo! The kids do some schoolwork and answer questions, so that the inspectors can see that they are learning what they have to. They show their schoolwork and explain how we fonction. Even me, Tao, I pass a test, as they also verify where the work is done, inside me :-) And because that can be hard to imagine, we made a video for them (in French of course, but we put English subtitles). They were delighted! How do you like our school?
Learning by living and traveling
This video mainly shows the "schoolish" activities, because that is what helps the inspectors feel confident. But in reality, there is far more to show! The kids have many more moments to learn : when we meet passionate people, experiment, do creative projects, sport, visits, hikes, etc... or simply travelling together, cooperating, living in me or fixing me. We hope to find the time to show you this "other" side of our school too.
